hello,
i'm wondering if orsee stores each subect's initial registraton date and time and how it can be retrieved. is it perhaps encoded in the id? (which looks rather random to me...)

This is most likely not an ORSEE problem.
Please check the default charset in the configurations of your server/your ORSEE mysql database/your mysql installation. If those configurations are set to a charsets which cannot deal with certain polish characters then they will not be correctly displayed/included in emails.
Hope this helps.

hello,
we have a problem with the "regular tasks" (such as e-mail queue processing). They seem to get executed only when you click "run now", regardless of what is specified in the "when executed?" column
best regards,

We have translated ORSEE to Polish but some characters do not show up properly (especially in e-mails). Is there a way to fix it?
thanks in advance,

Hi Ben!
We are still in the process of setting up ORSEE and I am trying to figure out why when after I assign subjects, it shows "400 subjects assigned". But when I click on "Assigned Subjects" to view them, the screen is blank. Here is the query that is showing up at the top of that page:
Query: SELECT * FROM or_participants, or_participate_at, or_sessions WHERE...

The most efficient way would be to create a set of SQL statements which import that data. The easiest way would be to start with an Excel file of your participants also holding their participation data in your expeirments. Then create the experiments and sessions in ORSEE, but leave them empty and closed. Note down the experiment ids/session ids, and fill in those IDs in your Excel file. From...

The idea is that not allowing subjects to deregister themselves forces them to think carefully and to check whether they will be available before registering.
To deregister a subject as an administrator, simply go to the session's participant list, set the "session" field for the participant to "No session", and click the "Change" button at the end of the list.

Hi,
We have just migrated from ExLab to ORSEE but over the summer ran some expeirments and kept track of the subjects on paper. I have about 60 subjects, most of whom only participated in one experiment but some who participated in 2 or 3 types of experiments. None of them are registered on ORSEE yet.
What do you think is the most efficient way to get them all registered and set it up so we...

Hi Ben, Thanks, I know that. I am trying to figure out how the subject can deregister from a specific session?
Thanks!
