Used OpenQuote for a broker client to deliver on-line commercial insurance quotations, delivery of the product was really quick, although the learning curve is quite steep. However support from the OpenQuote development team was excellent.

I haven`t got a time to explore the software itself so far, just installed the software, however, I`ve experienced the level of the support from the team. I`ve dealt with some difficulties during installation proccess arising from my unexperience and mistakes, but thanks to the great support from the developers I was able to install and run OpenQuote successfuly. The invaluable support is there to help with anything.

I’ve been using OpenQuote to deliver a quote and buy service for PI insurance, via an existing .NET website. We were able to get our products up and running pretty quickly and our web guys integrated them into the site without any trouble. The product configuration is fairly sophisticated and technical (XML) so takes some time to get to grips with, however the support from the community forum is really good and has proved an invaluable. There was nothing we had any real difficulty implementing and the risk assessment and rating engine is pretty flexible. Better documentation and a more user friendly product configuration GIU would be nice, but overall I’m impressed.
