Hi, Howard
Not sure if you are still here to help or not.
I would like to open a file which is sitting on the server where html and jar files are, and I tried to pass my absolute path such as
param name="openfile" value="/users/denver/matt01/web/docs/sample.pcl"
But it gave me "File not found .... A full absolute directory path is requried...." error.
If I pass my local file...

Hi,
running "openpclviewer.bat filename" doesn't work. This opens the pclviewer, but without the file.
Is this a known bug and how can i fix this?
Thank you,
Thomas.

As I recall, you may need to boost the memory of jvm. Try that and let me know.

Anyone gotten it to run on a Mac? I've tried and it hangs if I try to do anything likr change the page or zoom. It will export the 1st page of the sample, but that's about it. Anything else and it just hangs, showing the tooltip-like [Updating Image...] message. Then, nothing. I have to kill the app.

I'm new to PCL, but I was wondering if it's possible to use this library to combine or merge individual PCL files into one? If so, can you provide any guidance at a high level on how to go about doing this? Thanks for your time!

The pclViewer doesn't support all of the PCL commands. However, if you email me a pcl file, I can take a look at it to identify (and possible fix) the error.
Email me at Jimg (at) docmagic.com

Dear Partners:
I'm new to the PCL world, and am working on converting PCL files into PDF by combining
OpenPcl and Itext.
I'was able to process the sample.pcl file, but not our generated pcl files (form + data).
PclViewer fails previewing them; however, other PCL viewers like JetPCL succedd.
May somebody please shoot a me clue?
Thank you.
Roger.
