• netupsd version 0.1 (first release)

  netupsd is an application to remotely monitor a UPS (usually via SNMP) and take one or more specified actions if a condition is met. Typical use is to watch an APC datacenter-class UPS (Symmetra, Silicon) and shutdown if it fails. The first release is now available at SourceForge. It's very limited on functionality, but it is able to poll an APC UPS using SNMP and send email to an administrator if the battery capacity drops below a given threshold.
