  • Absolutely best tool in this area.
  • It has been a while that I was searching for THE software to store all my athletic data. While MTB (MyTourBook) can be intimidating at first as it is packed with a lot of features, it is a "swiss knife" tool that gives me the ability to track/store, analyze all my athletic data quickly. Its creator is very responsive and open minded for new features, bugfixes and even welcoming for people that want to participate and make MTB better every month (MTB is opensource). MTB is being developed very actively compared to competitor software that tend to get stale after a couple of years (MTB is 14 years old and still has a release almost every month!!!!) Icing on the cake, I can own my data and not have it on a cloud somewhere with who knows what they will do to it/with it. I have been using MTB for several months now and I can definitely see myself as using it for a lot of years to come.

  • very Mighty tool; excellent

  • Very elegant software! Very responsive support for all of us fleeing the end of life SportTracks pc application.
  • Too early to give a detailed feedback as regard ease, features, support and design, but the whole picture is more than promising. No bullsh*tting features with overly and unnecessarily over-complicated solutions, but workable recording with fast data access thanks to MTB's being a desktop software. It is what I need.
  • I learned my old tried and true app was going EOL and would no longer be able to be licensed in the event of an OS / PC change. Someone recommended this app. It looks daunting at first but it's great. I have 7 years of data I treasure and this will assure I can keep and use it for the foreseeable future. Thank you!
  • very useful ******** 09 june 2019 - I update my review because at first I didn't find it too intuitive. After getting familiar with the program I managed to get what I wanted.

This is the first review (within 10+ years) with less than 5 stars
  • I use use instead of becoming premium member for my run app
  • Awesome job! Perfectly run with Fedora28 and my new Garmin forerunner 235 Olivier
  • Absolute necessary software for tracking sports. I have not seen any similar on the market including big companies' software.

  • I use it from years very thanks to the great development-team
  • MyTourbook on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
  • GREAT piece of software which enables You to visualize, analyze and make corrections to your GPS tracked workouts aka "tours". I only started using it, but already love it! Excellent!
  • Extremely versatile and feature laden. My goto planning tool.
  • When I started running about two years ago, I gathered my "tour" data using an OpenOffice spreadsheet. The nice thing about this was that I could graph the data and fairly easily compare tours. The downside was the absence of a connection to GIS information. I used MapMyRun and, while it is a good, web-based program, I couldn't upload my old data and was fearful of not being able to export it in the future. Later, I got a Garmin Forerunner 110 with a heart rate monitor and, while the device and the data it collects are wonderful, the Mac desktop and web-based programs are clunky and, once again, provide no way to import my old data. I've just started with MyTourBook, but was impressed with how well it imported my Garmin data. Also, it provides support for importing text information in CSV format so I am hopeful I will, finally, be able to aggregate my data in one place. The interface is well designed and, consistent with a lot of Java applications, is very flexible in terms of views, ability to edit information, etc. My initial impression is that this program ranks with the likes of Calibre (which is an open source ebook manager) in terms of power, ease of use, and likelihood to be around for the long haul.
  • Sigh... After having seen this wonderful work I took the serious decision to discontinue my own project.... Really well done. Really what I was looking for. Really a complete suite for the gps tracks analysis.
  • Good work!
  • sehr komplexes und umfangreiches Programm schneller support durch Entwickler es ist schwer vergleichbar gutes zu finden
  • Excellent work.
  • Nice and Easy to use.
  • Świetny program.
  • Great piece of software especially for the later trip analysis. I like it more than the official Garmin sw.
