you can just omit the wrong declaration in ../../include/mpeg4ip.h, strcasestr() is declared in string.h, which is included by mpeg4ip.h.

Does mpeg4Ip supports "Reliable UDP "? (The documentation doesn't mention about it , but I may be missing something. )
Can anyone suggest me any alternative package which supports Reliable UDP streaming.

I used MP4Box (part of gpac) to hint my mp4 files. Am now streaming my films using DSS.

You're kinda out of luck. Sorry. There is a libmp4v2 project at google, but they don't have the mp4creator function.

OK, guilty as charged I'm new to this!!
All I want to do is add a hint to my mp4 files so I can stream them using DSS.
I see that mpeg4ip will let me do this?
It installed ffmpeg encoder OK, do I need to compile the rest of mpeg4ip to be able to add a hint to mp4files?.

I'm going to suggest that if you can't make it compile yourself, that this is the wrong project for you. This project is not going to do any updates in the future.
