Misfit Modeller 3D is our favorite open source, low poly modeller. Unfortunately the original developers gave up on development a few years ago leaving the project orphaned.
Misfit Cubed is the last released version of Misfit3D (1.38) with an MD5 exporter added and some bug fixes of the Windows version. The Linux version has been implemented using the plugin system, there is currently no MacOS version, but if someone would like to do one...

Misfit Cubed was developed to specifically make it easy to make MD5 models for our game, MekArcade, based on the Cube2 game engine.

The exporter DOES NOT handle misfit tags properly - please read the documentation in the wiki.

We would love to add more, such as SMD import and export, IQM export etc, however we don't have the time or resources. Misfit really deserves to be loved and cared for properly.
.
If there any C++ coders out there who are interested in helping please contact me, ASAP.

Anyway, enjoy.
