  • REAL MULTIMEDIA NOTES

Hi there. ... grate program so far. To use in real world during my work I would be very, very, very, very, very nice to have following things: - Grep pictures/an partial aerea from desktop (like ksnapshot) and paste it directly into a note. - Ability to drop files or pictures into a note (pictures are saved within note not fielsystem) and files are integrated to - Ability to link notes and...

  • systray4jd file mode

systray4jd have bad permissions after unpacking zip file on linux. There is another way to work with Systray4J for KDE. Replace systray4jd by libsystray4j.so then change one string in memoranda.sh: java -Djava.library.path=./lib/kde -cp ${LCP} net.sf.memoranda.Start $1.

  • hyperlink to task from notes

When using the Notes section in Memoranda as a diary and looking back at your diary now and then it might be nice if there were a simple way to hyperlink to a task or event for further description. P.S. not in the least conversant with programming, hope this is the right place to mention a possibly nice feature. Thanks.

It appears .notes is not updated until exit, not even when minimized to the tray. If it were updated right after the edit then the data wouldn't be lost. A related issue: it would be more intuitive if the note...

  • Followup: RE: Portable Memoranda

Your appraisal of the situation is right on. The "Portable memoranda" patch was never adopted into the mainline of code, so you're pretty much on your own to get it working. It really sounds like you're doing the right thing - you've patched the source code, and set the MEMORANDA_HOME variable, to my eyes, properly. I assume you recompiled the code to use your new (patched...

  • Followup: RE: Portable Memoranda

As the "Portable Memoranda" patch was last updated Jan `07 and the latest Memoranda release was Feb `07, I'm courious to ask if this patch was incorporated in to this latest release, albeit released a year and 9 months ago. The reason I ask is, line 9 of memoranda1.0-rc3.1-20070407/memoranda.sh references the variable MEMORANDA_HOME. While I haven't tried Memoranda on any of my...
