I find it cool that people can code software with features equal and better to OEM offerings for those who don't have it. (IE Vista Home Basic doesn't have Media Centre, but Media Portal does really well as a replacement/substitute!

LOVE IT!!!! I spent a LOT of time finding an HTPC program that I ACTUALLY liked; and this is it. I love the configurability and the usability.

I am SO SICK of wasting my time with software that doesn't work: crashes when scanning for channels. Reinstalled latest card drivers, reinstalled the MediaPortal, the tv card doesn't show up in MP at all. It works fine with other programs like dscaler... Tried everything, wasted two days on this crap, giving up now. I'm SO SICK of this!!! Why say your software works when it doesn't!!?? How about an error message!? Amateurs!!! Take your software and shove it!!! Thanks for nothing!
