Why are there 3 installers?
You only need to install one of them. Maxima can be build using different Lisp implementations and the installers use different Lisp implementations.
Which one should I use?
That depends on your needs.
maxima-openmcl-5.36.1.exe and maxima-sbcl-5.36.1.exe are build on Windows. They are probably faster than maxima-clisp-5.36.1.exe, but there were issues with Windows DEP and Anti virus programs reported.
maxima-clisp-5.36.1.exe may be slower. It is build using a different method (crosscompiled on Linux) and no issues were reported.
