It has allowed me to start web facing our AS/400. I needed JDBC access to our AS/400 (really an iSeries) and it works away without me ever having to think about it again. A very nice experience. Also to browse a database with "Squirrel" just point it as JT400.jar and it works great. I've also used JT400.jar as the driver inside OpenOffice.org to do mail merges again everything was perfect.
