JImageDB is a system of applications for creating, displaying, and maintaining a categorized, keyword-searchable database of images. It is implemented in 100% Pure Java for maximum platform independance.

<UL> <LI>Implemented the jimagedb web application. <LI>Implemented the AutoStart application (thanks to Jetty and edu.stanford.ejalbert.BrowserLauncher). <LI>Upgraded to Smyle 0.8.2. <LI>Changed "\n\r" to "\n" in all source files. <LI>Placed a "File->Close" button on the DBEditor toolbar. <LI>Changed the "File->Open" filter to just look for Smyle master files. <LI>Force all images to be selected from under the initial directory tree. <LI>Names for Image files will be saved relative to the initial directory tree to support access from the web application. <LI>Disable the "move selected" buttons in the image maintenance panel if no image is selected. <LI>Changed org.lepus.swing.SimpleAction to avoid choosing a default name if the action has an icon. </UL>
The second Alpha version of the JImageDB system has been released. This release allows you to create, maintain, and view a database of images. The CDPackage sub-system that will create an ISO image of the image database still needs to be designed and implemented. Internationalization and localization support in the project is anticipated, but not yet realized.
