I would like to request full jack support. I do the Open Source Musician Podcast and it would help creating a sane and open source solution to remote podcasting.

I think it would be good to have the option to output to jack as well. When jack is running it hogs the soundcard, so the way it currently is the user needs two soundcards so he can talk and hear.
It is also customary for jack applications to always show the ports, not only when they are needed. I guess the current implementation just connects to the first two jack ports it finds, which might...

Hi! IHU is a very big program! I use it in a local FM station for doing live events of the city (instead of expensive g.722 hardware codecs).
An interesting option is using OSS DSP, is a little complex to control ALSA in a enviroment of multiple soundcards on the same machine.
Other question, its possible to improve other codecs like ogg vorbis 44100 mono at 64 kbps... ? for having a...
