Internet Access Control (IAC) is a LAMP system that integrates with Squid to deliver real-time graphical statistics, billing, monitoring and more.
I have been using IAC at a couple of clients and give it a HUGE thumbs up. I've set it up transparent so the users don't know they are being monitored and in your face. Both have given very good results. Well done perilin and thanx so much for all the support you have given me on this. Not because it needs the support but because I'm a n00b. Looking forward to future releases.
* Upgraded WebGUI statistical graphs. For Flash enabled browsers it now displayes interactive Flash-based charts. Non-flash-enabled browsers will still see the old graphs. * Added a visible version number.
* Added more optimization for dangling locks and concurrent connections.
I urgently request that all IAC users upgrade to this version. Various changes have been made and some bugs fixed. Also, the concurrency bug (see CHANGELOG) is giving me a lot of sleepless nights. It seems the bug has infact not been totally removed (yet?) but its effects have been minimized, so I humbly ask for some help from the community. Thank you!
* Added Negative URE support. * Fixed a SQL bug that would leave dangling locks when updating the user_totals table (causing inconsistent totals)
* Added MAC address user authentication support. * Updated send_reports.php to send the previous month's reports. Makes it easier to schedule a cronjob. * Various small tweaks to the WebGUI.
First release.
