Thanks for your quick reply Allen. I'm also looking at OpenGrade, but I like the spreadsheet format in GradeL better :-). I'm sending you the file. I too suspect it's something with rounding, or maybe with the way GradeL calculates a final exam separate from the rest of the course?

I just thought of something. It sounds like you are using the weighted category style of grading, correct? I use the straight points method and have not noticed your problem, but I'll revisit the weighted category feature and see if I can spot the problem. Maybe my percents are not summing properly to 100. Hope not, that would be embarrassing - I teach math :)

Well, these sounds like big issues. I think it will be best if you can send me the test file so I can play with it and see what is happening.
Off the top of my head, the issue seems to be centered on my rounding, but it could be something else. Whatever it is, I know you want to give your students accurate grades, so I'll have to move this to the top of the to-do list.

Hello. Before I post my problem, let me say thanks for working on this. I'm a college professor trying to make a switch from Windows, and the gradebook program is my last holdout. I was excited to see your project.
Here's my problem - To get used to GradeL, I manually copied grades, assignments etc from my old Windows grade program. That way I could verify settings, etc. But the final grades...
