I tried downloading and running GQview (Windows build) on Windows 7. I got too many errors but I kept downloading dlls until I got it working. The problem is, I browse to directories I know I have photos and other images in it but I get nothing. I've used the Ubuntu build and loved it worked on the same dir.
I'm not getting any error messages and the --debug cli option doesn't really work.

works with:
gqview-win-2.1.4.1.exe "%~n1%~x1"
(not complete path - only filename and extension)
in a batch file.

This can be worked around one of two ways.
The first is:
- Make a shortcut to gqview-win-2.1.4.1.exe
- Right click the shortcut and select Properties
- Edit the "Start In" text box to be %CommonProgramFiles%\GTK\2.0\bin
The second (and better) solution is:
- Right click "My Computer" and select Properties
- On the Advanced tab, click "Environment Variables"
- Scroll through the System...
