This is a great IRC service that our users love, and you have to use gcc/g++ 4.2 to compile it, and apply a patch for it to work on systems with gcc-4.3. The patch http://searchirc.com/boards/irc-7767.html is to fix /msg GameServ help crash.

Does not compile under Ubuntu Linux 9.10 Karmic Koala, or under Ubuntu 9.04 or Ubuntu 8.10, or Debian Lenny/Sid.

A fantastic game that really provides more user interaction than most other IRC RPG games.
