I am using Gallery since the version 1.5, and I am convinced that it is the best photo gallery software that exists today. Modules bring a lot of flexibility into what is offered to the visitors, and the gallery runs quite fast with 10.000+ photos on it!

G1 and G2 are pretty awesome. A lot of things is configurable. However. the "remote" is bad. It lost a lot of feature such as permission, tag and moving. It only good for uploading photos.

A little complicated to setup, but that is more due to the Linux server than the software itself. Easily able to handle thousands and thousands of files.
