FreeMiCal allows the bulk export of MS Outlook appointment items to RFC 2445 conformant iCal format. .NET 2.0 or greater and Outlook 2003 or 2007 Interop Services required.

Joachim Banzhaf reported a problem in the all day event export. This bug effected korganizer users. Lightning and Google seem to be more generous and ignore wrong parameters. Version 0.2.0.1 fixes this bug.

Import into Lightning 0.3.1 works without any limitation. Import of my 2460 items took 5 minutes.
I tested FreeMiCal output with Google Calendar. It works fine. However, there is a quota limit on the number of calendar items one can add per day. I haven't found out the actual number, have to test a little. Also, if you have more items in the export ...

FreeMiCal 0.2.0.0 is available now. It now works with both Outlook 2003 and 2007. FreeMiCal is much smaller due to performance optimization. Have fun exporting.
