Description

A GNU Emacs binary distribution for users who want to use Emacs natively in 64-Bit Windows (x86_64). This project will focus on providing unmodified, up-to-date (from git trunk and newest release), and optimized w64 binary builds.

Thanks to the awesome projects MSYS2 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/msys2/) and MinGW-w64 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/mingw-w64) I can bring you a fast, clean, and functional GNU Emacs for Windows.

For details concerning the build, please see the wiki page on https://sourceforge.net/p/emacsbinw64/wiki/Build%20guideline%20for%20MSYS2-MinGW-w64%20system/.

P.S. If you feel that the latest emacs's horizontal scroll bar is anoying, add the following two lines to your dot emacs file.

(when (fboundp 'horizontal-scroll-bar-mode)
(horizontal-scroll-bar-mode -1))

This works for the versions newer than 2014-08-06.

P.S.S. Thank you for the fair comments. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Great source! I have used several builds from snapshot and pretest. All worked as expected.

I am wondering why people say my build is 32-bit. Can you run it in a 32-bit environment?
