README - Duplex 0.3.1.1 - 08/13/2018 Duplex (two-sided) printing saves paper, money, trees, and space. Several other utilities are available which provide this functionality, but most require the user to repeatedly select options in popup windows and are prone to user error. No utility I am aware of will (gracefully) allow a user to print multiple duplex print jobs in a batch. Duplex.0.3.1.1 - 08/13/2018 Highlights: NOTE: New dot.duplexpr config file (as of release 0.3.1), be sure to install and customize it as necessary (mandatory - *if* you are upgrading from a release prior to 0.3.1 or if this is a new install). Changed default_formfeed to off (0) in dot.duplexpr Added kmprbatches - (optional) reports how multiple print jobs will be split into batches when using kmprb in batch mode Fixed print strategy 3 code in mprb (still broken in kmprb) Reworked How_To_Request_A_New_Print_Strategy.pdf Added Exploring_Print_Strategies.pdf - How to discover the correct printing strategy for your printer Added a delete_to_trash configuration option to dot.duplexpr If enabled (and if trash-cli is installed), print files selected for deletion will be deleted to Trash instead of being completely removed (rm) If you want to use this option and are upgrading from 0.3.1, then you'll have to either install and customize the new dot.duplexpr or add the option from the end of dot.duplexpr to your existing .duplexpr file. NOTE: If you plan on using the new delete to Trash option, please verify that it works correctly *before* relying on it. If the scripts cannot find trash-put (the program which deletes to Trash), they will silently revert to permanent deletion using rm.
