Version 2.0.1 of Doctor Swig is available, through either the SVN repository or you can get the binaries through the add-in repository at http://doctorswig.sourceforge.net/md/2.0/main.mrep The patch contains the following changes: * The bug, preventing use of periods (.) in output assembly names has been fixed * All .cs files added to a Swig project is automatically marked with a build action of "Compile". * The use of ccache has been enabled for generation of swig bindings
Gendarme is a natural companion to help validate the correctness of the interfaces generated by Swig. Unfortunately the existing binding at http://code.google.com/p/gendarmeaddin/ is a bit outdated. I wanted to join the project, in order to bring that addin up to date, unfortunately the join page appears to be under attack by some spamming bot. So I gave up trying to join, and copied the sourcecode into the Doctor Swig subversion repository, and migrated the code to be compatible with MonoDevelop 2.0. The addin is available via the addin repository at: http://doctorswig.sourceforge.net/md/2.0/main.mrep, and the modified source can be found in the subversion repository at: https://sourceforge.net/scm/?type=svn&group_id=259199
DoctorSwig is a source-code repository, containing an add-in for Monodevlop, for creating Swig bindings. The source code for this add-in has been released in the hopes that others may find it of interest. There are no major plans for ongoing development, but the project may see occasional updates and changes on an ad-hoc basis.
