Excellent free IDE - much faster and easier to use than eclipse-cdt. My favorite dev tool for Linux C and C++ development. Very easy to build from source, also the nightlies are worth having as they generally do bugfixes and minor improvements on a regular basis.

Mainly nice, but with an awful bug in Mac: the editor doesn't allow to write opening curly braces or brackets.

Code::Blocks works great for all older versions of Windows... Recently I installed Windows 8 and now there is a compiler issue.

Just amazing. Powerful, fast, easy to use, and from what I can tell, a surprisingly small footprint
