• Cloud Update System alpha

  Cloud Update System alpha is currently ready. It's going to be online and working very soon. With CUS you can easily search for updates for Cloud Web Browser. Users are not permitted to define any complicated settings for auto-update functionality. Cloud Update System documentation is going to be released with next stable release of the program (At this time it seems to be Cloud Web Browser Revisited pre-alpha). Basic idea of Cloud Update System: 1) Get the version of program currently running 2) Go to programs server and get update.txt file using WebRequest and WebResponce classes in System.Net namespace (Included in .Net Framework 2.0 Redistributable package. 3) Check if newer version is online 4) Show information, screenshot and download link to user. 5) If user wants to update Cloud Web Browser, close the program, run the patch and reopen program (which is now updated!). Notice! Users can disable auto-update feature if they will. The program will work without updates. It's also possible to download updates in separate packages from the website cloudweb.gigacities.net
