On my Windows Vista, when an engine is analyzing and i minimize-to-tray ChessX window, the engine stops analyzing and when i maximize back the window i need to push again the "Analyze" button.

Looks like missing QtXml library to me. Alas, Mac OS X packages seem broken, but I have no access to Mac, I can't fix them myself.

I am getting similar behavior with the OSX Leopard version (0.6). When I tried to add an engine (Sigma Chess - UCI), and it wouldn't take it, I canceled out of that process. That caused a CTD. Now, when I try to restart, I immediately get the CTD. I am on a MacBook Air 1.6GHz, 2 GB ram, running OS 10.5.8. Here is my crash report:

Engines can be removed from the list, but when there is only one engine left this makes ChessX crash.
