  • HUGE PROBLEM! CHECKGMAIL SENDS YOUR E-MAIL AND PASSWORD AS PLAIN TEXT TO THE BROWSER IN THE URL. Is a good client, but until fix this problem is a huge risk use it.
  • Best of all gmail notifiers (despite having to run multiple instances for multiple accounts)
  • Brilliant piece of kit. It would be nice if it supported Ubuntu's OSD, and if it had a transparent panel background as it looked quite ugly with a big grey square against my black panel.
  • Best gmail checker, lets me mark mail as read without waiting for the web version to load, which elevates it above all the others. Great work!
  • It's much better than the ones the coders wasted their time writing in C++ and such for KDE and GNOME. Just stick this in your autostart and smoke it.
  • The app works awesome on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. I wouldn't want to be without it! Only problem is tray icon background colour. However, I used the Homosapien theme and the colour works fine.
  • Very effective. Fixes are quick to be published when google API break the script. And the new "checkgmail -update" feature is a killer. Thanks
  • Very useful and user friendly! :) If you have a gmail account you must have this :)
