It's much better than the ones the coders wasted their time writing in C++ and such for KDE and GNOME. Just stick this in your autostart and smoke it.

The app works awesome on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. I wouldn't want to be without it! Only problem is tray icon background colour. However, I used the Homosapien theme and the colour works fine.

Very effective. Fixes are quick to be published when google API break the script. And the new "checkgmail -update" feature is a killer. Thanks

Best of all gmail notifiers (despite having to run multiple instances for multiple accounts)

Brilliant piece of kit. It would be nice if it supported Ubuntu's OSD, and if it had a transparent panel background as it looked quite ugly with a big grey square against my black panel.

Best gmail checker, lets me mark mail as read without waiting for the web version to load, which elevates it above all the others. Great work!
