• asdf 0.4 file released: asdf-0.4.tar.bz2

  + stores certain configuration values between sessions; + greatly simplified code in play_dvd(); + fixed bug occuring when subtitles were enabled, but no sub track was available; + fixed uninitialised variable errors when there are no tracks to display; + now clears all listings every time tracklist is rebuilt, not just when a new disk is loaded (stops things being shown when they shouldn't); + loads GUI "faster" (ie. displays it before doing slow stuff like reading the disk); + the usual round of minor bugfixes and cleanups.

• ASDF version 0.3 released: now includes an installer

  This release of ASDF (a simple frontend for playing DVDs with MPlayer, http://asdf-mplayer.sourceforge.net/) includes some of the biggest improvements so far, probably the most exciting of these being an installer. Look out for the first beta release some time in the near future! Some other visible changes: + Tooltips for some of the less intuitive options + The subtitle controls are now greyed out when no subtitles are available As usual, a full list is in the changelog.

  + installer! + hitting "enter" in "dvd path" box loads disk and plays default track; + shuffled internals to eliminate +/-1 corrections for track/chapter number; + subtitle widgets disabled when no subtitle tracks available; + added some tooltips, changed some wording in the UI; + fixed bug in "double-click chapter to play" fn; + a bit more code cleanup + bugfixes here and there.

• ASDF version 0.2 released

  A new version of ASDF is now available. This package provides a simple Qt frontend for MPlayer, to make playing DVDs easier. This release provides some new features, detailed below, as well as a new website (http://asdf-mplayer.sourceforge.net/) and a screenshot. There has also been a bit of cleanup internally, and a couple of minor bugs have been fixed. + If the longest track is longer than 65 minutes, it will now be selected by default, even if it's not the first track in the list; + Chapters now have their length displayed; + Numbers are now padded to make them line up better; It is available for download now from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=181717&package_id=211500&release_id=466974
