- compatibility with Mac OS X 10.4.x Tiger (developed and tested on 10.4.4) - self-contained application bundle, with nothing extra to install - application now has standard menus, including standard Cut, Copy and Paste commands and keyboard shortcuts - built as a Universal application to run natively on Intel Macs (although only basic tests have been run on an Intel machine).
Address Actions 0.2 is now available on SourceForge.net. It adds support for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and Intel Macs. The previous version (0.1) of Address Actions required separate installation of other software. This is no longer necessary, as the drag-and-drop application contains all required third-party software. Address Actions is a utility for working with address information in Mac OS X. Select an address in an email, webpage or other text, then choose Address Actions from the Services menu to add the address to the Mac OS X Address Book, or display maps for Australian addresses. While this release makes Address Actions much more usable, there are still plenty of rough edges and work to do. The first public release of Address Actions is now available on SourceForge.net. Address Actions is a utility for working with address information in Mac OS X 10.3 (and hopefully higher). Select an address in an email, webpage or other text, then choose Address Actions from the Services menu to add the address to the Mac OS X Address Book, or display maps for Australian addresses. It is early days for Address Actions, with plenty of work still to be done, and lots of potential for enhancement. However, power users may find it worth a look now, and Cocoa or Perl developers might like to contribute to the project.
