#48 Bring back old (linear) knob behaviour!

I've seen that in 2.4.3 teh knobs are driven in angular fashion, instead of the simpler liear one. I personally prefer the prevois operation I think it's easier, and together with shift increatsing precision I never needed more that I had there. Now I feel like I have to re-learn using knobs and I don't quite like this now way of how they work, I think it's needlesly complicated.

I like the knobs displaying the values in the center on mouse-over though.

Could you provide an option to use "legacy" knob beaviour or even make the "angular" style not default?
