The http://repo.roscidus.com/python/python feed already contains a "pointer" to http://0install.de/feeds/Python.xml feed, so the .pyz is already executed by Python on Windows. However there are few issues: * There is no Windows implementation for http://repo.roscidus.com/python/python-gobject. However GObject is already bundled with the Windows build of Python used by Zero Install. You can use <requires interface="http://repo.roscidus.com/python/python-gobject" os="POSIX"> to tell Zero Install not to bother with that particular dependency on Windows. * Launching the .pyz on Windows fails with "ImportError: No module named gi" in uikit.py. Haven't look into what exactly is causing that. Maybe an additional dependency needs to be bundled in the .pyz to work on Windows? * You need to upload a couple of additional files in the same directory as http://fossil.include-once.org/streamtuner2/doc/trunk/dev/0-st2.xml for the feed to work for everyone. The .gpg file must be present for 0install to be able to verify the feed's signature. It will work without only on your local machine because your key is already in your GPG keyring. The .xsl and .css files make the feed look pretty in the browser. :) -----Original Message----- From: mario [mailto:ma...@fr...ub] Sent: Freitag, 15. Mai 2015 03:49 To: zer...@li... Subject: Re: [Zero-install-devel] Archive type for PYZ packages without extraction And thanks again! Seems to run just fine now. And I guess for the Windows runner http://0install.de/feeds/Python.xml, it's perhaps simpler to default to the older .pyw extension, which it's already registered as file-type handler for. |
