Hi all, =09as I am working on the linuxjournal YAML article I want to avoid mistakes.=20 First of all my thanks to all you hardworking coders out there. I've been coding on various stuff most of the weekend and I truly appreciate all the time you put in that project. If you have the time I would appreciate very much if you could answer these questions. I already exchanged emails with why for a German article some time ago and was rather impressived how well Ruby & YAML work together. - how out of date are the implementations? Take into account that it might take a few weeks, if unlucky 2,3 months till publication. - are they still maintained? - how much do they differ from each other? is the goal to make them as similar as possible? taking the characteristics into account? - could I get an "impressive" short code blurb in the different languages= ? - do you know of one application already using your routine? What about the C implementation? libyaml? I did not see a download. Bye & thanks a lot, =09Armin. ----------------------------------------------- Armin Roehrl, http://www.approximity.com Training, Development and Mentoring OOP, XP, Java, Ruby, Smalltalk, Datamining, Parallel computing, Webservic= es Rubybuch: http://approximity.com/rubybuch/ Agile Entwicklerkonferenz: 22. und 23.10 in N=FCrnberg. http://www.approximity.com/public/conferences/AgileConf.html |
