This is the second computer, mouse, and keyboard it's done this with, so I think it's a program thing. But, sometimes, out of nowhere the layout will zoom in or out without input from me. It's quite frustrating.
Possible Clue - Scroll up and down on the trackpad is converted into mousewheel up and down which is mapped to zoom up and down as is PG UP and PG DWN. So either a hand or other object resting on the keys or moving over the/a trackpad can cause this issue. I think the Apple Magic Mouse also simulates mousewheel for scroll events on its top surface as well.
Question - if I am correct, is the mousewheel/scroll too fast to zoom - in otherwords is it so sensitive that it is not possible to control it?
