Please consider writing and installing an AppData file with the application description and some screenshots, else Xournal looks really bad in the GNOME and KDE Software Centers. We'd love to showcase more applications, but without the extra data file we can't. See http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/appdata/ for details; thanks!

The Gnome Software Center is such a horrible piece of crap, between the
crippled and braindead user interface (probably meant to imitate
iTunes?) and the completely random selection of applications that are
"featured", that it's not a very compelling proposal. But I suppose one
should indeed look into it. Though, I like how (in Fedora at least) at
the moment all it says about Xournal is "take handwritten notes". That's
exactly what it's for. Well, no time right now, but I'll keep the
request open.
