Isn't it flash-based? You are parsing the swf file? no, i just disassembled the .swf and found the urls that actually contain data. these are plain text files, even easier to parse than before. ciao davide ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2005-02-07 18:03 Message: Logged In: NO > i hate to repeat myself, but even if > http://www.adnkronos.com/Rubriche/GuidaTv/ > is nice, it only has 7 channels, compared to the 150+ of > satellite.it, > which also has much better descriptions. I agree. In any case, it is something to keep in mind if the other one breaks in the future. OTOH, adnkronos.com is much likely to go offline sooner than satellite.it, so I think you're right again. > if i have to spend time writing a grabber, i would choose > the best provider i can find. Seems quite an achievement. > it seems there are quite a few impatient people out there, You bet! > but please just bare with me and wait a few days. ^^^^ Is it some kind of dirty proposition? ;-) Regards, Alfredo ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Davide Chiarini (mnbjhguyt) Date: 2005-02-07 11:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=686500 i hate to repeat myself, but even if http://www.adnkronos.com/Rubriche/GuidaTv/ is nice, it only has 7 channels, compared to the 150+ of satellite.it, which also has much better descriptions. if i have to spend time writing a grabber, i would choose the best provider i can find. and anyway i already have a half-working grabber for the new layout of satellite.it. it just needs testing. it seems there are quite a few impatient people out there, but please just bare with me and wait a few days. ciao davide ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2005-02-07 11:01 Message: Logged In: NO For if someone is interested, I've found another online tvguide: http://www.adnkronos.com/Rubriche/GuidaTv/ It has a few pros: seems easy-to-parse html, it has full descriptions for a full day per channel in each page. So to get one week worth of full descriptions it's enough to have 7x#channels http requests (i.e. should be reasonably fast). I'd do it myself, but I don't know perl well enough... Don't know how long is it online though. Better then nothing btw. >This is the LINK http://www.filmup.com/tv/index.htm this is NOT a XMLTV provider. it's just another tv guide channel. and not a very good one IMHO. not worth spending time on it. just wait for the new version of tv_grab_it_lt and everything will be fine work is in progress, won't take that long ciao davide ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2005-02-07 08:05 Message: Logged In: NO I FOUND another xmltv "provider". Unfortunaly its has only 2 days. Better then nothing btw. This is the LINK http://www.filmup.com/tv/index.htm . here we can choose what channel and what days (todays or tomorrow).
