hehehe, stupid me. But it also have some interesting information:

 0.          9.790       pgx64_display_frame

Isn't he supposed to be using xshm driver??

Another interesting bits:

 0.          6.680       audio_decoder_loop
 0.          2.220       video_decoder_loop
 0.040      10.330       video_out_loop

video_decoder_loop should give us the time to decode video, pretty small.

it takes more time to decode audio than video? audio decoding seems to
be slow due the synth_full function from mad (nothing we can do about it
i guess).

notice that it takes much more time to show than decode video. And most
of video_out_loop time is spent with pgx64_display_frame. Do the pgx64
use memcpys? That would explain a lot.
