Isn't this what Daniel fixed in xine-ui by generating an additional

Well, i wasn't in #xine when you and James discussed the sync problems.
I really don't know what are the other problems with the current
metronom system besides the spu vpts. If you enlighten that maybe
someone could have a solution, hum? :)

btw, i will open a #xine window today while i'm working...

Ok, although i wouldn't call it _MY_ method! it's just the current
method with a bugfix.... :)
