Hi Harm, On the bad wmv file case: I haven't found anything wrong on demux_asf. mplayer also don't play it very well, the video looks better than xine but play speed is completely wrong. I guess this kind of "xxx.asf plays on avifile/mplayer but not on xine" will only end when i change our w32 code to be exactly the same used in avifile. Zdenek has already converted the directshow files to C (using some of my work) but i'm not sure if this will make into 1.0. What's a decoder to do in such a case? actually, w32codec doesn't use the img->draw() result. The code was this way before i started playing with it. maybe any metronom wizard can give us some hints about it... :) Miguel |
