Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Seeking in MPEG4 files and DVD files is broken Initial Comment: 1) Sometimes it's impossible to seek 10 seconds ahead in DVD/MPEG2 files, because xinelib seeks only half a second ahead or simply ignores seeking at all 2) In most MPEG4 files (DivX3/5/XVid/etc.) xine is unable to properly seek forward and backwards, i.e. when you try to seek 10 seconds ahead xinelib seeks only 5 seconds or even rewinds back instead of going fast forward. This bug is two years old, please, do something about it! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109655&aid=1732575&group_id=9655 |
