Well, generally, I'd recommend an upgrade to XFree4, as long as your video card is supported there. This usually gives some performance improvements. Okay, this obviously is a problem: you're using SuSe ... well, though I don't like them, there should still be some way to get things running. If video goes out of sync when playing something with xine, this is your problem. Otherwise: very unlikely! Could you please make a complete bug report if it still doesn't work? The file "bug_report_form" in xine's source directory should guide you through... (it's just difficult to analyse bugs when you have to collect all information in little pieces ;) Regards, Siggi |
