Category: DVD related problem Group: v1.1.1 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Marco Liguorini (mliguorini) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Problem with a "temporized" DVD menu Initial Comment: Good morning, I'm using xine under Fedora Core 4 (xine-lib 1.1.1-1.2.fc4) with xine-ui 0.99.4. I have a problem with a "temporized" DVD menu on a title. I'll try to explain it. When I play this title with PowerDVD 6 under Windows XP the menu work correctly: - I click on the "Extra contents" menu and I choose to view the character cards of the cartoon. - The first card is visualized on the screen with the number 1/2 and a jingle is played, in the meantime the cursor of the progress bar is moving forward. - When the cursor reach the middle of the progress bar then the second card is displayed without any intervention (2/2), and the jingle is played again. - The second card remain on the screen while the cursor continue to move forward. - When the cursor reach the end of the bar the card is closed and the title return on the screen where I clicked the button for the "Extra contents" while another sound is played. When I play this DVD with xine under Linux the behavior is different: - When I click on the "Extra contents" menu and I choose to view the character cards the first card visualized is the 2/2 while the jingle is played. - When the cursor reach the middle of the progress bar the jingle is played again but the screen don't switch, I see only the card 2/2. - When the cursor reach the end of the bar the card is closed and the title return on the screen where I clicked the button for the "Extra contents" as in PowerDVD for Windows. If you already know the cause of this behavior please excuse me. Thanks for your work, best regards.
