Category: video output problems Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: libxine won't use SDL initially Initial Comment: I have a problem with all applications using the xine library with regards to image update speed on a AMD64 machine with SUSE 10 (64bit). Watching anything (DVD, DVB, mpegs) is jittery. I can fix this by using the SDL video driver but I have to re-initialise it everytime I start the application. I use Kaffeine but xine is the same. They start with no video at all. I can't seem to do anything about it in xine but in kaffeine I can fix it by re-selecting SDL in the xine video settings. It complains about a missing URL (url not given) but I answer OK to that and everything works fine until I restart Kaffeine. I am using the lastest package versions distribute with SUSE and downloaded from packman.de.
