Category: gxine Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 7 Submitted By: Mykola Lynnyk (definer) Assigned to: Darren Salt (dsalt) Summary: gxine 0.4.4 and 0.4.5 crashes with fullscreen Initial Comment: gxine 0.4.4 and 0.4.5 crashes when trying to go to the fullscreen view. The last working version for me was 0.4.1 - I didn't tried 0.4.2-0.4.3. I use xine-lib-1.0.1, XFree 4.3.0 with radeon drivers. Output (example): The program 'gxine' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 431 error_code 8 request_code 42 minor_code 0) The same thing never happens with xine-ui, so it is something wrong with gxine. gxine 0.4.4 somtimes allows fullscreen - but 0.4.5 crushes instantly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Mykola Lynnyk (definer) Date: 2005-05-29 15:08 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1032735 Replacing 'case FocusOut' block didn't fix the problem. gxine still crushes with the same output. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Darren Salt (dsalt) Date: 2005-05-29 05:36 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=294680 Works for me... could you test CVS HEAD? I have a suspicion that the problem is in the 'case FocusOut' block in xine_thread() (src/gtkvideo.c) - if I'm right, then 0.4.5 will work if you replace that block with the corresponding block in CVS HEAD. (Reason code 42 is X_SetInputFocus - see <X11/Xproto.h>.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=109655&aid=1210569&group_id=9655 |
