If you check out the code from CVS, or take one of the latest snapshots, you fill find that multichannel is already supported. Latest snapshot at http://xine.sourceforge.net/xine_frame.php?page=nightly.html The part which is missing, is the support from the OSS driver. I wrote a multichannel extension for the SbLive and it is already in CVS. But the exension is not in the main branch. There is a developer version with the Tag "v0_15" available. You can check it out this way: export CVSROOT=:pserver:cvs...@op...:/usr/local/cvsroot cvs login # password: cvsguest cvs -q -z3 co -r v0_15 emu10k1 Please have a look at the description in emu10k1/docs/multichannel.txt I await your success/failure report, since I know no one than me :) who has actually tested this.
