Hi all, The past few days I've posted a few questions to which I have yet to see a reply. Don't get me wrong, of course no-one is in any way obligated to answer my posts, but if someone in-the-know would look into this I'd very much appreciate that. 1. When I activate the raw dvd device, I get demux errors. The solution provided in the FAQ is of no use because I have no errors /without/ the raw device..! 2. Apparently Xine can't handle ALSA 0.5.10a because I've even tried to recompile v0.3.5 but it still says that the ALSA driver failed. This worked fine with an older kernel/alsa release. 3. WHen I had the 0.3.5 RPM installed, I could see the .VOB files on my DVDs in the Playlist. Now I've recompiled it and I only see t0c0t1-type of tracks. This also hides the trailer on my Farscape pilot DVD. 4. The FAQ states that, in order to compile for Athlon, I have to export some XINE_BUILD value. When I do this, /.configure says it can't find a host system type. Do I need to install a new gcc version in order to support my Athlon well? If it makes any difference, I'm running Linux-Mandrake 7.2. with kind regards, -- Reinout van Schouwen e-mail : re...@cs... voicemail : 020-8750706 |
