Hi, I tried xine because I heard it can possibly play SVCD under linux which would make it the only player that can do this, I ever heard of. Now I compiled xine with merely no problems (just ALSA-support failed). Well the player starts now, can see the gui. But when typing 'xine vcd://2' or even 'xine -A null mpeg-file.mpg' (with mpeg1-files AND mpeg2) it first starts to read but doesn't give any graphical output and stops reading upruptly afterwards. Can somenone help me about this? My Hardware: voodoo3-2000,amdk6-3,ali1543, using: Xfree 4.01 on debian woody with 2.2.18pre27, DRI and AGPart (dunno correct name) compiled into Kernel. Aviplay, Smpeg-Gtv and mtv work fine. Would be cool if someone here could help. Well and if you can't help, maybe you can tell me if SVCD-Plaback works for you.So at least I know it's possible ;=) Greetings mIchAel -- Sent through GMX FreeMail - http://www.gmx.net |
