http://bugs.xine-project.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297 Martin <mar...@ar...> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |mar...@ar... --- Comment #6 from Martin <mar...@ar...> 2010-01-10 13:37:57 UTC --- I've exactly the same problem. xine plays flv files with extrem noise. I'm building my own xine/libxine1 packages for years now and they work fine. libxine1 is configured to use external ffmpeg package. That ffmpeg is snapshot of 2009-12-30. Same flv file plays fine using ffplay from that ffmpeg snapshot. I'm too using external faad2 package. ffmpeg is configured to use that external faad2 too. Here is a snippet from xine --verbose=2 output: [...] load_plugins: probing demux 'fli' load_plugins: probing demux 'flashvideo' xine: found demuxer plugin: Flash Video file demux plugin video discontinuity #1, type is 0, disc_off 0 waiting for audio discontinuity #1 audio discontinuity #1, type is 0, disc_off 0 waiting for in_discontinuity update #1 current time : 26469 vpts adjusted with prebuffer to 38469 load_plugins: plugin ffmpegvideo will be used for video streamtype 4d. load_plugins: plugin faad will be used for audio streamtype 0e. av_offset=0 pts spu_offset=0 pts xine_play [...] xine seems to choose right plugin.
