I have looked all over for the answer to this question. I only see that others have ask but that no answer seems to be given. I want to use xine-remote in a control script. I can give commands like xine-remote -c 'set audio volume 50' from a script with out problem. But when I try and read or get information, I get nothing. eg: xine-remote -c 'get audio volume' I do get an answer when I use xine-remote in its shell like form. How can I get answers from xine-remote -c 'get <-some command->'? xine-remote --version This is xine-remote - xine's remote control v0.1.2.
