Your patch appears to be overkill: it needs only to add the "case" statement.

It dropped through the cracks. However, I still have it here; and if you want
to post a follow-up patch with the new bits added wherever else they make
sense, that'd be good.

It'd also help if the patch messages are such that the subject and the
descriptive part of the message body together make a usable commit message,
or the attached patch has, prepended to it, a summary line (LF-delimited) and
description; the best way to do the latter is to actually commit your change
then export it ("hg export .")
