This is... strange. You might want to check whether /usr/include/linux/cdrom
is pointing at the right file (assuming that it's a symlink) and that
CDROM_DRIVE_STATUS etc. are actually defined in at least one of those files
(or any which they include).

BTW, putting quoted text in your signature isn't a good idea. It tends to be
removed automatically on reply...
